Tijeras Arroyo Project KAFB

This project involved the realignment and repair of the Tijeras Arroyo. Included in the project was a concrete encasement of existing utilities that had been exposed due to erosion. Also included the stabilization of the bank of the arroyo, utilizing recycled concrete materials..

Refurbishment of the Headworks portion of the White Sands Missile Range Sewer Plant

Project included removing the existing sewer plant headworks equipment and refurbishing the existing channel and flume. L&R also installed new headworks equipment as well as a new PLC control system. Project was completed on time and on budget in July 2020.

Manzano Power line and power poles replacement project at KAFB

L&R was selected to provide a new power infrastructure to replace power poles and lines that were damaged in a wildfire. The project included the replacement of over 46 power poles and the associated lines and conductors.

Phase 1 and 2 Fire Hydrant and Water Valve Replacement

Replacement of over 50 fire hydrants and valves at KAFB. Included coordination of multiple water outages and working closely with base personnel.

Indian Health Service- Mescalero Indian Hospital

We installed fiber at the Mescalero Indian Hospital connecting the main hospital to the Behavioral Health Center. We fulfilled the contract safely and effectively. We worked successfully with the Mescalero People to install this in their community.

General Utility:

City of Tucumcari

We installed a sewer line for the City of Tucumcari which consisted of boring under an on-ramp to I-25 to replace a collapsed sewer line.

Lowes Home Improvement

We installed storm drains at Lowes Home Improvement Warehouse located in Espanola, NM, correcting pudding areas in their parking lot.

Our company specializes in Communications Construction Services. We install buried telephone, copper and fiber optic. We install mainline and drops. We can provide turn- key service if desired. We safely excavate, place duct and pull cable. We install and refurbish manholes.

Data Communications Line Installation- KAFB

L&R Installed and replaced data and phone lines at KAFB for the 705 Combat Training Squadron in building 942. L&R installed a structured cabling system for data and voice connection in support of the 705 Combat Training Squadron. 68 personnel were supported in their modular cubicles with phone and data. This included upgrades and certifications of all phone and data lines.

Bishops Lodge

Santa Fe NM. Installed 2 miles of fiber optic cable to over 25 buildings in an upscale resort. This was a turn key project which included fiber splicing, testing and certification.

Kelly Cable of New Mexico-Owner-CenturyLink

Kelly Cable of New Mexico holds the prime contract with Century Link for all the work in New Mexico. As subcontractors we installed mainline copper and fiber optic cable throughout Albuquerque and surrounding area. We also refurbished many underground equipment rooms (manholes).

Broadband Connect Small Town America - Kit Carson Electric Company

During the Broadband Connect Small Town America Stimulus Project, we installed many miles of mainline duct, vaults, and pedestals through-out Taos and Angel Fire NM. We were averaging 4 miles of installed duct per day.

Team Fishel Telecommunications, Inc Plateau Telecommunications, Inc

Working the Broadband Connect Small Town America Stimulus Project. We subcontracted for Team Fishel Telecommunications, Inc. working primarily throughout Eastern New Mexico.

We pulled all main line Fiber Optic Cable Through-out Vaughn, NM, and installed over 10,000 drops through-out Fort Sumner, Vaughn, Santa Rosa, Corona, and Mora New Mexico.

Plateau Telecommunications, Inc

When the connecting small town America stimulus project was complete Plateau Telecommunications, inc., the company which owns Fiber Optic Service through-out Eastern New Mexico and Western Texas hired us directly to install Fiber-Optic Mainline and thousands of drops.

We worked in many towns through-out Eastern New Mexico including, but not limited to, Clovis, Roswell, Corona, Vaughn, Ft. Sumner, Santa Rosa, Tucumcari, Logan, Las Vegas, Moriarty, Edgewood, Belen, Conchas, Clayton, and Farwell Texas. We had to acquire business licenses and work safely and efficiently within each of these communities.
