About Us

L&R Comm. and Construction, Inc. is a New Mexico based General Contractor that specializes in the Safe Construction and Renovation of all types of buildings and structures. L&R has the expertise and experience to handle all types of projects and will find innovative solutions to problems no matter how complex. L&R also has experience and the capability to self perform utility projects as well as communications projects including fiber optic installation.

  

Rosario (Rose) Romero, President, has a Master's Degree. She helped found L&R in 2011. Since our inception we have been a Woman Owned Company. Rose assists in managing the operations of business. She supervises office staff, developing a sound working environment. Rose values a strong team spirit.

Bobby Romero, Vice-President of LRCC-Inc, has 40 years of general build construction experience. L&R is experienced in all phases of General Build Construction Services from initial concept to completion and inspection.

Jason Revels, Operations Manager – Jason has over 20 years of construction experience with a wide range of both public, private, and Federal. With extensive experience in design-build, Jason can provide value throughout the construction process from the initial project inception through the final delivery.

Joseph Valdez, Project Manager/ Estimator- Joseph has 3 years’ experience in project management/estimating and has 7 years of experience in the trades (electrical and carpentry). Since 2018, Joseph works almost exclusively on the federal contracts. Joseph can find the initial federal solicitations, estimate and bid a project, manage the project once it is awarded or fill-in as superintendent on the field. Joseph can also assist L&R in writing company/sub-contractor policies, coordinating construction operations, managing multiple projects, conducting Quality Control, and enforcing job-site safety measures.

LRCC-Inc philosophy is to construct projects and/or buildings per plans and specifications, meeting all local codes, on schedule, within budget, and in a safe manner while emphasizing quality control.

 

As part of the Pre-Construction process, we assist with site selection and development. We analyze and prepare cost estimates, construction schedules, and timelines. We provide drafts for remodel and/or tenant improvement projects.

During the construction phase; we oversee the procurement processes, guide and monitor the physical construction, and ensure on-site safety guidelines. We oversee and participate in communications related to the project. There is regular analysis and control of the budget, focusing on cost containment. We perform regular job-site progress reviews managing the job-site safety program and implementing LRCC-Inc safety procedures.

Finally, our Post-Construction services include: Training and familiarizing personnel with the start-up, maintenance requirements, and performing warranty inspections.
